***NO RESERVE AUCTION*** 1968 Kaiser Jeep M715 1966 saw the need for troop carrier in Vietnam that met certain Military requirements. The M715 was based on the Civilian "Gladiator", sharing some basic components. In the three years of production, only 20,000 M715's were made, and only a handful "made it" into private hands. Further complicating the matter, the off-road crew has "improved" these few existing trucks into non-original specimens. The truck presented here is an original, fully functional, fun, Military collectible that can take you to the Garden Center, ride in a parade, be exhibited for it's historic value, or go off-loading. This truck is restored into a mechanically and cosmetically sound vehicle that with minimum of care will out last any driving requirements you might have. Now that we have established this is a rare, desirable, and functional unit, this thing is SO COOL in that you can be a "troop carrier" and use to carry your friends in. The bed has a covered canvas top that is easily removed. The cab is also covered in canvas and that can be removed, but wait there is more! The windows wind down and the windshield folds flat. Talk about a giant wind in your face sportscar, that can ford streams. You can take it on the freeway, but I would not want to do that too much, and it does not have "duals" or anything complicated about it. YOU CAN DRIVE THIS, YOU WILL LOOK COOL. IT WILL NOT BREAK. IT WILL HAUL ANYTHING YOU CAN LOAD IN IT. Now here is the "disclaimer" part. This is NOT a daily commuter to get to work. You should not leave this truck "outdoors forever". "Restored" means mechanically repaired and painted. There are little dents that were painted over and a small amount of rust on the driver's side floor board as seen in the pictures. The speedo stopped working and the gas gauge always reads full. All other gauges work well tho.. Has never been driven far only around town. Shifts smooth, starts easily and idles smooth! This truck is currently registered, clean title and ready to go! Comes with a spare tire and rim. Plus, all services records for the last 15 yrs with all the invoices for new parts that have been installed over the years.. You will not find a nicer Jeep M715 then this one!
