Here is the details. I bought the 1998 m3 in 2007 in Dallas Tx. It was a single owners, rust free, bone stock, original paint silver 4 door m3. Got deployed to Iraq and sent the the car to Eshift Performance (check them out in Youtube) to do the engine swap. The turbo is a Turbonetics T72 with ceramic ball bearings. All the parts where new except the engine and gearbox. After my deployment I got the car down to Florida and pulled the motor and had Ross Engines rebuild it using forged CP pistons, arp studs, race bearings, new oilpump and a race head job. I did the tuning on it. It runs perfect. Closed loop 14.7 at part throttle and 20psi, 11.4 afr, 565whp at WOT, temp needle dead in the middle, check engine light works properly and there are no codes, idles perfect, ac, ps, radio, new Bilsteins, square 8.5in LTWs wheels, AEM wide band, boost and oil pressure gauge. It has a custom built 4 plate 3.46 LSD. Offcourse the built 2jz is able to produce much more power (1000whp) but I chose to keep it nice and safe and super reliable. With the current 565whp (which is about 650bhp at the crank) it does sub 4 sec 0-60 and top speed of 184mph gps verified. It was rev limited in top gear (R154 5 speed). I you want to increase the power you will need bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump then turn up the APEXi electonic boost controller. The turbo is good to 750hp. The transmission is a Toyota R154 5 speed rebuilt with Marlin Crawler parts and a custom short shifter I made. It has a Clutch Masters stage 4 clutch with aluminum flywheel. Work beautyfull. The interior is original and very good. See pictures. Seats are nice dove leather with no rips or tears. New headliner. The front door tweeter covers are cracked. It is my daily driver.
