Vehicle Detail
Due to the frequency of non-paying/false bidders, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time to the highest bidder. This is a car from my 93 year old late great uncle's estate. This one was not kept indoors but it seems all original. The paint has moss covering it in alot of areas. I've found no title from the estate for this car. Also there was a exterior roof mount sun visor in the back seat that I put in another auction. Not sure if it went to this car. We recently hauled it to our shop and got all the wheels to turn free, tires to hold air. The steering works smooth and easy, but found the motor is stuck tight. The radiator is missing. The transmission is a 3 on the tree but the shift linkage is unhooked from the colum under the hood. The car rolls easy for loading on transport. The front fenders are beat up, and have some rot but not the worst Ive seen. The fender mounted mirrors were broke off. The rear fenders are banged up and very rusty. Alot of the trim is rough too. The floors are in bad shape, with gaping holes. Pictures show some of it, more pictures available. The interior seems mostly complete but fabrics are in bad shape or gone. The hood looks good and solid, and opens and closes easily. The trunk doesnt latch but looks ok otherwise. The doors open and close with a little extra effort, and the latches catch and hold. The glass is cracked in the drivers door windows, but all the rest looks pretty good, no cracks, not too much discolor or other issues, only minor bubbles in a couple corners. The roof skin looks solid and undamaged. Any areas not mentioned that your wondering about rust, assume its rusty and remember this is a rural iowa car, where roads are dusted with salt through the winter. The frame looked solid to me, but no promises with a car this old from this area, we didnt get a chance to put it on the lift and inspect closely. Check out the pictures and ask any questions you have. Buyer is responsible for all shipping concerns. The car is fine sitting at my shop for a while if needed. A $200.00 deposit is due through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment by cash in person or wire transfer is due within 3 days of auction end. No returns or refunds. Thanks for bidding.
