Up for sale is an awesome 1971 Honda CB750. It runs well, has 22,067 miles, and has a clear MN title in my name. It has the classic plates. VIN: CB750-1063211 Engine #: CB750E-1063653 Paint: The Candy Ruby Red paint is very nice. There are a few very small nicks in the tank. And a small area on the right fork ear where the paint has been scratched away. Tank: The tank is straight with no dents. It is clean inside with some very light yellow rust tint. Seat: The seat is in great shape with no rips or tears. Although I believe it is from a later year. The seat lock has a different key than the the ignition. Exhaust: It has the original HM300 exhaust. The bottom pipes are in nice shape. The top pipes have some surface rust and a couple small holes at the exit section. The baffles seem to be intact. Side Covers: Great shape... nice paint. Gauges: Speedo is faded which seems typical of the old 750's. Tires: Good tread left, however, they are modern looking tires. It would look better with vintage looking tires. Fenders: The chrome is really nice. The front fender has a couple wrinkles but the chrome is fine. The rear fender has been nicely repaired under the taillight bracket. Only noticeable upon very close inspection. Rims: Very nice chrome. Cables: All new cables and upper brake line. Lights: All lights and horn work as they should. It runs well and shifts through all the gears just fine. It does not smoke and there are no leaks that I can see. It is a very fast bike... actually too fast for me. I prefer my smaller CB450. Breaks were bled this winter and the carbs were just cleaned this week. I installed new carb boots as the old ones were pretty tired. This is a great bike and would make an excellent daily rider for someone or it would be a perfect candidate to restore to its original showroom condition. I have tried to explain everything that I can see and know about the bike. I want you to know what you are getting... good and bad. I have what I consider to be a reasonable reserve on the bike given its condition and pedigree. Please do not bid if you have zero feedback.
