Could use new paint and interior make over or drive as-is and enjoy. . . it's your call. This car underwent a frame-off build about 15 years ago or so and is weathered from sitting outside uncovered. PO periodically started car but never drove it. At the time of build all body bushings,suspension,suspension bushings,exterior chrome,brakes etc.. were replaced Body is good but paint is lacquered checking all over top surfaces from the 15 year old lacquer paint job. The body is very straight for being 47 years old with only minimal rust behind the rear wheel wells (as seen in pic) and won't take much to fix. Factory floors, braces, floor pans and trunk area are very solid and need no repairs Factory power top in great working condition. Factory power steering, power brakes. Factory 12 bolt POSI Factory SS dash tach Factory SS 4 gauge center cluster Stock interior is 99% complete but is MISSING the 4 speed center console. All locks,windows,electrical,lights inside and outside,gauges,heater,defrost work great The 396/325HP motor and M21 4spd trans has only 5K since build. THIS IS A CORRECT 1966 IMPALA 396/325hp ENG but not vin match. Clutch is great and so are the brakes. This is a daily driver right now, jump in and go anywhere, rain or shine, night or day.
