Up for sale is a totally restored 1967 BMW R69S with an 8 gallon Hoske gas tank done in Dover White with all 3 serial numbers matching #661565. It has the original factory frame tag. This is a professional restoration done at Bancroft Vintage Motor Works. I have been in business for over 15 years with over 30 years BMW experiance. Everything has been totally gone through in this frame up restoration. The crank has been rebuilt, the top end is new with 1st over pistons, main bearings replaced as well as all seals and gaskets. It has tapered steering head bearings installed and a stainless steel bolt kit. All other hardware such as brake arms, brake rod, drain plugs and misc. were cadnium plated. Stainless spokes were laced to the original polished Weiman alloy rims. The transmission and rear drive were rebuilt with new seal and gaskets and reshimed to specs. A new chromed exhaust system was installed, headpipes, mufflers and crossover. It still has the original speedometer with 62793 miles showing. It also has original Hella barend turnsignals with the correct switch. Everything works and looks as new or better. Also included but not installed is a perfect set of kneepads. I liked the look without them but they are going with the bike There is nothing that needs to be done to this other than ride it and after 500 miles, change all the fluids.
