I am selling my 2001 Honda Civic DX 2 door coupe with a clean title in a no reserve auction. I had purchased this car with 31,100 miles from the original owner in 2007. It has 176,839 miles most of which have been on the highway. I have recently decided to sell it and purchase another car. It has been a very reliable car and I have maintained it mechanically, but have not particularly kept up with the cosmetics of the car inside. Driver carpet area is in very poor condition ( which I cover with the floor mats) and there are numerous carpet stains and scuffs throughout.The trunk area needs a new insert and liner. I believe the outside presents very nicely as seen in the photos. Please use the photos as part of the description). I have changed the oil regularly at about 3000 miles using synthetic oil at most changes. This car has had two minor accidents which were on opposite sides to each rear quarter area and which I had repaired locally . There was no affect on its driving performance. The car has been running fine and shifts smoothly. Heater and AC work well too. I had the transmission replaced with a rebuilt transmission in 2010, and a new timing belt at around 115K miles from a local Honda dealership. It has four good Michelin tires on it, but I believe it is ready to have front brakes changed soon. In addition to the factory spare I have also included 2 extra tires, one on a Honda 14" rim. The battery is a new Die Hard about 6 months old. The car should have all struts replaced as well. There is a check engine light that stays on that has a code indicating an emission issue, but I have been able to reset it and pass inspection each year. I have removed the car from the road and will only be able to start it and move it a few feet in my driveway to demonstrate if necessary. I have explained all I know about this vehicle, and would prefer serious bidders only. Please feel free to ask questions as this is an "as is" sale with no warranties or returns.
