Bidding is for a very special version of Triumph's famed Rocket III motorcycle. I'm the original owner who bought the bike brand new in 2007 as a retirement gift for myself. Being over 60 now, and after putting only3400 miles on the bike in 6 years, I've decided to move on and let someone else enjoy this sweet ride. What we started with was a 2006 Rocket III, Classic model, with floorboards and pull back handlebars. The odometer is currently reading only 3419 actual miles. A set of Corbin hard BEETLE BAGS ($1800) was added, along with a Corbin FLEETLINER FAIRING ($1500). All tank/side cover emblems were removed, and the bike was professionally painted completely in the Triumph FACTORY color, New England White. The bike was fitted with an awesome ZARD exhaust ($1200), which sounds just incredible. The engine was left completely stock, with only a K & N air filter added. This bike runs like new, was NEVER raced or abused, and is hardly broken in yet. Numerous extra chrome parts were added, along with custom mirrors. Including Front Dresser Bars, top yoke cover, frame cover, inspection cover, w/p cover, swing arm cover, drive shaft cover, and more. An ignition relocation kit was installed, putting the key on the side, and an Auxiliary Power Socket was installed too. The rear license plate was raised, and the clunky rear turn signals were removed in favor of stylish fender mounted signals. The bike is fitted with a complete gauge package, including Fuel, Gas, and Thermometer. Throttlemeister long-ended cruise was installed, as was Factory HEATED hand grips with the newer variable temperature switch. The only flaws at all are shown in pics. The front fender had a slight paint chip on one side edge, and the fairing has a small boo boo on the top right edge. Both occurred when not running and just when unloading from a trailer. Fairly minor fixes, if you wanted to bother. As a limited bonus, for anyone smart enough to use the 'Buy It Now' option, I will include over $2500. in extra parts. This includes a 1 off, custom made for me, 2-piece Tan Ostrich GEL seat ($800). One picture shows the seat, without the passenger piece put on. Also included would be a Complete Factory 2nd set of bodyworks (tank, both fender, side covers), all Brand New, never installed. They are the original 2006 2-tone Classic colors of New England White & Cherry Red. Plus more stuff. If bidding starts, and the Buy It Now option gets removed by Ebay, I will remove this extra offer from the listing. If you've ever wanted one of these great Triumph machines, this is the one to buy!!!!!! This is a NO RESERVE auction. I have 100% LIFETIME feedback as a seller, so no worries here. The bike is obviously a Pick-up item, but I'll be glad to assist a shipper, if needed. Please ask any questions that you might have, BEFORE bidding. I live just north of Detroit area, and bike is available for inspection anytime before auctions end.
