Vehicle Detail
thanks for looking!! i have to sell my 1972 FACTORY SHORT BED cheyenne chevy truck. I have been working on it for some time now and well its to not far from being nice.this cheyenne is a half ton 2wd. she now sports a BIG BLOCK MOTOR AND A 400 TRANS. she also has air condition with an uncut dash with a factory am/fm radio. the A/C is not connected, however i do have all the brackets and the compressor. i have put fresh carpet with sound deadner. new rubber door seals, new bench seat, outside mirrors and door handles, key locks, new dash pad,new interior door handles and window cranks, glovebox, front bumper and all new marker lights and lenses.brand new gas ,brake and E-brake pedals.I also put BRAND new brakes all the way around and changed all the rubber hoses with a new master clyinder. the truck will STOP. i have kids. i dont have anymore time or money for this truck and my wife is on my butt to get rid of my dream truck.... anyhow the big block is a 83/84 year motor.runs fine when i can get it to turn over!!!miles on motor and trans unknown. truck rallys with 275/60/15. i have put in like 5 starters and none of them seem to be able to get this motor to crank well. i have spent a ton of money at the shop and it always seems to start fine there but i get it home and freaking BB wont start for me... drags and drags and drags... so i have had it with BBs. i have only drivin it for very short distance, and if you win this truck i would advise you to flat bed it out of here. doesnt leak really any oil.4 core radiator.roll pan in the rear. i have new mufflers for it. i did NOT paint it. the rockers seem to have been changed at one point. the is some mud here and there. the top bed rail have the most, someone filled in the tie down holes.I hate that!! the roof drip rails look good.the truck lines up well. the pictures will speak for them selves. a good cut and buff is what it needs. if you need anymore info, pictures about the truck ,email before bidding. this will be a NO RESERVE auction ..... come by and see it if you like.make me an offer i cant refuse and i will sell it. good luck and im selling the truck as is.On Mar-25-13 at 21:12:45 PDT, seller added the following information: i have gotten a TON of emails and here are some answers to them. clean title the radio is a factroy AM , and NOT am/fm... things i would do if i were to keep it, i would remove the roll pan and go back to stock bumper.outer and inner grill.up grade the wiring to put a dash with all gauges.tilt.fix a/c.i have 4 or 5" drop springs for the rear i will include in the sale also the paint in my opinion is a 5/6 . but im super picky. cut and buff it and run it. YES , it does run.however it will not start for ME!! it just DRAGS AND DRAGS AND DRAGS till i kill the battery.IF you know about BBs,then maybe you know the trick.can i get someone to start it to get it on a hauler ... YES i will do that for you. just to be clear ... this is a NO RESERVE auction and the last bidder wins. thank you for all your interest and i'm happy to answer any question honestly. if you want to chat about the truck leave me your number and i will call you. victorOn Mar-30-13 at 16:44:37 PDT, seller added the following information: hello ebayers , one of my buddies came over and worked on the truck a little and what he figured out was .... the freaking FIRING ORDER WAS WRONG !! NOW it starts like a charm !!!!
