Vehicle Detail
1986 Camaro Z28 This car is originally from South Carolina so it has NO CANCER. There is a little surface rust on the hood but that's it. Otherwise the body is perfect. The 5-speed transmission and clutch have about a thousand miles on since the rebuild. The brakes, tires, exhaust, suspension, and a number of other minor things have been updated. The engine in the car now is a 350 but it's half torn apart. It had a busted push rod. We pulled the heads off and the engine needs rebuilt. All the parts are there but we didn't reassemble it. You could either have it rebuilt or replaced. Overall, about $3300 was spent on the car before the engine died which was about a thousand miles after the work was done. It originally was an AC car but none of the air stuff is there anymore. It is a real Z28 with an original 5-speed transmission. This is actually pretty rare. If you take a look around you'll see this. This car is perfect for someone looking for a project. When I picked up the car it was still running but smoked so we opened it up and found the engine needed redone. The bottom end looked okay but pretty dirty. You could get away with cleaning up the heads and rebuilding them but I would replace it or rebuild the whole thing. Ask any questions and I'll do the best I can to answer them. Make sure you ask questions. You are responsible checking out the car. It's difficult to perfectly describe a car. It's always better to come out and take a look in person. With this is mind, I will NOT accept any accuses if you come to pick the car up and find something you weren't expecting. You are responsible for being sure BEFORE you bid that this is what you are looking for. It is NOT perfect. As far as payment, a $300 deposit is required immediately at auction close. If it is not received immediately, the car will be offered to the next highest bidder or will be relisted. No exceptions. Thanks for looking.
