Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2003 Honda s2000 with a Salvage Title due to flood damage. It is sebring silver exterior with the very rare full red interior. 42,185 miles. Runs and drives. As can be seen from the pictures I removed the interior and trunk carpeting, door panels(I have kept every nut, bolt, clip removed in a box, so it would be a breeze if the buyer wishes to put them back in) to show the condition of the chassis. The chassis overall is in very good condition but the electronics are not so great. Power windows, heater fan and soft-top motors do not work. I have two window regulators and soft top motors included in the deal, but I would also suggest the buyer to replace every interior harness and do a thorough clean up as well if the car is to used as a daily driver. It is a great candidate for a race car as it sits though. The body panels are overall in good condition. But I had a plastic car cover on it and it scratched some parts of the body, minor polishing should clean it up. All of the panels have matching VIN tags(pictures added). The lower portion of the front bumper has been scraped by the previous owner. The soft top looks newish but there is a minor tear on the passenger side, about an inch long. The radio and shift knob are missing. Side and rear badges have been removed, but the tape has not been cleaned off very well. The car also has few aftermarket modifications. They are K&N intake, T1R x-brace, test pipe and Eibach lowering springs. The car will come with a New York state salvage title, MV-907. After the auction ends I will need a copy of the buyer's drivers license. The title is currently under the dealership I bought it from, so they will write a bill of sale to that drivers license. The car is being sold AS-IS. Please do your research on salvage cars and if they're drivable in your state before bidding. The payment is due 3 days after sale. Certified check or cash are the accepted methods. Funds will have to clear before vehicle can be released. Vehicle pick up is the responsibility of the buyers. If its being shipped I will gladly help the tow driver load it on, but please hire one that accepts lowered cars as this one is pretty low. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. For more pictures and the videos of me driving it, send me a message and I'll send you the link to where they are stored. EDIT: I received a few messages asking if the engine was damaged by the water. It wasn't. The first day I received the car, I drained the engine oil and removed the spark plugs, there was no sign of water entering the engine. It started on the first crank.
