No Reserve! What do you do when you have a 1968 FJ40 with a solid rust free body (but not so good drive train), and 1976 FJ40 with a great drive train (but a wrinkled body)? You marry them so you can have the best of both worlds. The FJ you are bidding on has the very desirable F2 engine (recently rebuilt), 4 speed transmission, front disc brakes, and it has the heavier 1968 body with tailgate instead of ambulance doors. The hardtop, rear heater and 4 wheel drive give you the confidence and comfort you want in winter, then when the weather warms up you can take the hardtop off in a few minutes, put on the half doors and bikini top, and you’re ready for summer safari action! There are many FJ's for sale but few with a restoration this nice. The frame received a full repaint while the body was off and the body was undercoated as well. No rust anywhere. Fresh red paint is very nice and high quality in and out with red/white top. Everything was removed and put back together with care and attention to detail. New rubber seals and no overspray. The four inch lift kit, larger tires and wheels give you the extra ground clearance you want when you are off roading, and the 8000 lb. Warn winch will make sure you’ll get back when you’re done. Note the special touch applied to the winch. It is portable! It’s mounted on a receiver hitch so you can hook it up to the front or back of the vehicle, and the extra long operating cables make sure you can get out of the way while you’re using it. All seats have been recovered with original vinyl, and the front is the desirable bench seat with storage under the driver. The headliner liner is brand new and the interior is beautiful. The rear factory heater works as good as it looks. If you’ve ever driven an FJ you probably hate that slippery skinny steering wheel as much as everyone else does. Good news here. This one is leather covered. It feels great and gives you a whole new level of driving confidence! This FJ may look too pretty to drive in the mud, but don't be fooled. This is the real deal. These trucks are tougher than nails, and when this one gets dirty, it will just shrug it off.
