It was made in the San Jose plant and has lived in the San Francisco Bay area. It has been well cared for and has never been in an accident. It has made several trips to the Lake Tahoe area and has never got stuck. It has had a very long term owner until recently when he was trying to downsize his collection. Exterior: This car still retains its original blue factory Ford paint. The paint is starting to show signs of age and are there some scratches/chips here and there (as seen in the pictures). There is NO rust or corrosion on the body. In addition this truck has never been in an accident. Interior: The interior of this truck is also very original. It still has its original paint dash, gauges, headliners, FACTORY A/C, etc. The heater and A/C still work. The original radio has been replaced with a later unit. Engine/Transmission: This truck has the very powerful 360/390 V8. The engine starts right up and sounds great with its factory dual exhaust. The smooth shifting automatic transmission has been recently rebuilt and it shifts without a glitch. It is a very nice unit. This car was fitted with 4x4 from the factory and it too is in very good working order. Wheels/Suspension: This truck has a new set of tires from Big 0 that cost just under 1,000 dollars. I have the receipt for it. The suspension feels great and this truck is solid. What the truck needs: -Brakes tend to pull a bit ( I would recommend going through them) -Passenger inside door handle is broken and interior door panel needs to be properly installed. -Side view mirrors need new glass. -Front Bumper should be properly attached. -Gas/temperature gauge need a fuse. -Registration expired in August 2012. Overall. This is an excellent chance to own a factory Ford F250 Highboy. This truck would make a great daily driver, restoration candidate or work truck. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
