Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my project. My illness is forcing the sale of my 3-year project. I bought the car a little over three years ago. I've included two pictures showing the condition in which I bought the car. Very complete, Missing half a dozen small items, if that many. Mostly a molding here and there. I disassembled the entire car. The car came to me with holes on the floor of varying sized and instead of patching the holes, I decided to replace the entire floor pan with a new one. I had the entire body worked on and primered,. Then painted the entire inside and the outside with original Matador Red paint. The original engine that it came with (305ci) burned oil, so I rebuilt it entirely. The engine now purrs. The transmission, a 350, was also rebuilt, it originally hesitated when shifting, it now shifts seamlessly, The power steering hydraulic slave cylinder was leaking fluid, so it was removed and rebuilt. The generator/power steering unit was also rebuilt. a new gas tank was replaced with a new sending unit. A complete new muffler system was installed. The complete brake system was replaced including the master cylinder.Keep in mind that this car was being re-built for me and it was to be my pride and joy. Unfortunately, my current illness is forcing the sale of my toy. The things that the car still needs is a complete upholstery. Re-chroming of the front and rear bumpers, new whitewall tires and the replacement of a couple of window glasses that are fogged up or have cracks . Approximate cost to finish is anywhere from 4 to 5k. This Nomad would sell for $30 to $40k if completed. I paid $12k for the car and have invested over $12k on top of that. I will sell it to the first person that offers me $18k.
