thank you for looking at my listing. for your consideration i am offering a rust free 1970 datsun 1600 roadster. i am the third owner since 1970. the car is an original sf bay area car bought at camino datsun in sunnyvale ca in august of 1970.v i have the original owners info including the plastic warranty card. the only reason for selling is i have found an original solex 2 liter roadster i am actively pursuing. this car has a numbers matching engine and transmission.original faded but touched up in spots silver paint. i was contemplating painting the car but it has a nice weathered look to it. the body is straight and uniformall panels fit nicely and look like they are original to the car. i have gone throught the motor,adjusted the carbs,fitted an electronic distributor,magnecor plug wires,and new spark plugs. the front suspension has all the grease zerks,new boots on all bushings and tie rod ends,new front competition springs,4 new kyb shocks,american racing libres with brand new falken st615 tires,and new cibie h4 headlamps. all gauges and switches operate as thet should.please keep in mind its a 43yr old car and isnt perfect but a solid project you can drive and enjoy while you take it to the next level .if the reserve is met i will include a full tonneau cover which is brand new and a set of red koni adjustable sport shocks.
