This is a completely original unrestored 1977 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee, the paint, seat, all rubber, with the exception of the fuel lines and tires, (the original red line tires are included in the sale), all chrome and gauges, etc are original. The original tires have been replaced with Dunlop K81’s made in Japan. The motorcycle has 4233 miles and all the chrome is in great condition including the chrome engine side covers . Tickle the carbs, turn on the ignition and the bike has always started on the first kick, hot or cold. This is absolutely the best running/shifting Triumph I have owned (and I’ve owned quite a few), it is completely oil tight and I mean oil tight, it doesn’t leak even a drop. I purchased the Bonneville from an 80 year old gentleman who had owned the bike for over 20 years and remembers buying it from the original owner. The bike just had a complete service by a local bike shop. I’m 67 and if I didn’t have bad knees I wouldn’t be selling the bike but the Doc says I have to quit kicking these things. If you’ve been looking for a Silver Jubilee you know that Triumph only exported 1000 of these motorcycles, and how hard it is to find one let alone one this nice. This Triumph was built December 1977 so it has to be one of the last 1977 Triumphs built. The new owner of this Triumph will not be disappointed. The bike is sold with a bill of sale, Georgia does not require a title on vintage motorcycles. I have the Triumph for sale locally so it’s possible the auction could end early.
