DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU CAN CLOSE THE DEAL. NO EXCUSES PLEASE This is for the 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS model. The miles are 131k and it comes with clean title. Power windows, locks, brakes, driver's seat. This is the more expensive 3.8L engine SS model and not the cheaper 3.4L engine LS model. The starting bid is less than one fourth its book value, so you have lots of space to spend money on fixing it. This car needs some work and below is a list of all known problems. Mechanical: The major problem is the transmission that is going out. Right now you need to worm up the car for few minutes before it would shift but once it does you can drive it anywhere. Not sure how long it would stay like this before it stops shifting completely. I have seen the transmission several times listed on car-part.com for $200 right here in Florida. The AC and heat controls needs to be replaced. Right now it is working fine and the AC is cold but once you move the control knob it stops working and it is hard to get it to work again. The dash and cluster lights sometimes go off. The brakes are making noise. There is a coolant leak and you need to add to it every week or two. Not sure where the leak is. There is an engine oil leak and you need to add to it about a quart every month or two. Not sure where the leak is. The engine runs good. The passenger's side windshield wiper is missing. Exterior: The two fenders have dents in them and there is some damage to the front bumper cover. These three parts are fixable but you can probably find them cheap and replace them instead. There is some long and deep scratches. There is a long crack in the windshield. There is a small dent on the hood. Both power side mirrors are not working. Interior: The carpet needs good cleaning.
