I purchased this E36 BMW 3-series convertible from a friend of mine more than 12 years ago. He purchased it new and went over to Germany to get it. I have always garaged the car over the winter and used synthetic oil for the oil changes. I replaced the roof about five years ago after a break in. (Note: do not store any valuables in a convertible, always leave the doors unlocked). The tires are in good shape, and the engine runs smooth as silk. I think that this baby has another 100,000 miles in her easy. If you take it easy on the gas pedal (under 70 MPH), it still gets over 30 MPG. This car has been a pleasure to own and it still turns heads. It is a true BMW, the highest in quality, sports, handling and craftsmanship. I hope to find it a good home.
