You are bidding on probably one of the nicest examples of a well preserved and well maintained original AMC pacer on the planet. I recently purchased this car from a neighbor who's mother had bought this car new in 1975. With only 53,897 original miles on it, this car looks and drives like new. The paint and interior are all original. The car has been kept in the garage most of its life short of when it was driven. It has factory AC (which will probably need a charge), original AM radio, rear window defogger, and interior adjustable mirror. Since I purchased it I had a small dent in the drivers door repaired and match painted to the original paint job on the car. I then took it down and had a professional detail done on the interior and exterior of the car. All the fluids have been topped off, new spark plugs were installed, and tire pressures checked. The tires are fairly new radials and I installed a new battery. This car starts right up and drive great. Everything apperas to work properly on the car. This car is almost in perfect condition with the follow exceptions; The drivers door mirror adjustment knob is missing and will need to be replaced. The drivers door window crank is a bit worn but works fine. Probably a new bushing around the window crank shaft will fix it. Their is a small tear in the front drivers seat as can be seen in the pictures. A local uphoulstry shop quoted me $50 to replace the panel. The gear selecter dial in the dash is not engauged to the shift lever (should be easy to fix). The clock works intermittenly and will probably need cleaning and lubrication. Other than these small items that need TLC, the car is in fantastic shape. This car could be entered into a car show as it sits. It already turns heads driving it around and is quite a conversation piece.
