This is a true NO RESERVE! High Bidder Wins! 2003 VW Beetle Turbo Diesel Clean Carfax! 1 Owner, Super Clean Car! Very Good Condition! Automatic transmission! Over 40 MPG (estimated 39 mpg, consumer reports of 40-47mpg) This is a very nice car, nearly perfect. No rust, no dents, no damage history. I moved to Texas in 2008 and decided to get my car dealer license because I love to buy and sell cars and motorcycles. It has always been more of a hobby than a business (thank god, or I would starve) I only buy and sell a couple cars every month and I am very picky about what I get. Read my eBay feedback and you will see that I don’t sell many cars but everyone gets a great deal. I listed this car as a private seller because I do not provide financing options as a large dealer would. I’m a one man operation. You will be very happy with this car. It is solid, drives perfect and would rate in excellent shape. I included a copy of the Carfax report below. This is a one owner car that was very well taken care of. You will notice that the Carfax report says this car is worth $980 over normal retail. That is because of the clean maintenance history, no accidents, no major issues and 1 owner. Very hard to find a car with this high of a rating. I have a clean Texas Title. If you do some research on this Turbo Diesel Beetle you will find that the consumer rating is 4.8 to 5 stars. That as good as it gets! Owners have reported very positively about this car including fuel mileage often exceeding 40mpg, higher than the 39 mpg estimate for highway. This Beetle has plenty of power, smooth, quiet and easy to start. It runs and drives like a turbo diesel should. The Air Conditioner works great! The car feels like a much larger car when you are driving it. This is the perfect commuter car, fist car or just a fun daily driver. The paint is very near perfect. The body looks very nice. No sign of any prior damage history and Carfax shows no damage history as well. The interior is almost perfect as well. No cigarette smell, no tears or burns in the seats or carpet. Everything works as it should. Very nice Monsoon Sound system with 6 disk changer (Factory installed) No rust, none! This car was meticulously cared for and is in better shape than many of the newer cars I have seen. It is rare to find a car that is as solid as this one and clean on every level. This car will sell to the high bidder regardless if that is $500 or $10,000. I will accept a trade, no junk. If you want to trade you will need to contact me before bidding to establish the value of your trade. I will end the auction early for a good trade of offer but I will never end the auction during the last 24 hours of the auction. I really hope to get what this car is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay. Whoever wins this bid will be very happy! I will be happy to help you arrange to get the car to your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway. I would suggest that you fly into San Antonio or Austin and let me pick you up at the airport. You can drive it home. The winning bidder will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance within 5 days. You can leave the car here up to 30 days, once it is paid for. This is a true NO RESERVE! Vehicle Information: 2003 VOLKSWAGEN NEW BEETLE GLS TDI VIN: 3VWCP21C23M439812 HATCHBACK 2 DR 1.9L L4 FI FRONT WHEEL DRIVE No accident / damage reported to CARFAX CARFAX 1-Owner vehicle 12Service records available Personal vehicle 97,301 Last reported odometer reading $980 Above retail book value This CARFAX Vehicle History Report is based only on information supplied to CARFAX and available as of 3/10/13 at 3:56:21 PM (EDT). Other information about this vehicle, including problems, may not have been reported to CARFAX. Use this report as one important tool, along with a vehicle inspection and test drive, to make a better decision about your next used car. Top of F Based on the information reported to CARFAX, this vehicle is worth $980 more than the retail book value. Rebuilt/Reconstructed Tit A Rebuilt/Reconstructed vehicle is a salvage vehicle that has been repaired and restored to operation. These vehicles are often severely damaged before they are rebuilt and refurbished parts are typically used during reconstruction. In most states, an inspection of the vehicle is required before the vehicle is allowed to return to the road. Manufacturer Buyback or Lemon Title A DMV or a state agency marks an official document or issues a Manufacturer Buyback/Lemon title when a vehicle has been repurchased by the manufacturer. Not all states issue manufacturer buyback titles and the specific requirements for a lemon law vehicle varies by state. Odometer Check CARFAX analyzes mileage data to help identify potential: ·Rollbacks - odometer tampering to conceal a car's true mileage (i.e. Fraud or illegal activity) ·Rollovers - after reaching the maximum reading, the odometer restarts from zero (i.e. Mechanical or equipment limitation) ·Inconsistencies - conflicting mileage data means CARFAX cannot determine if it's a potential rollback (i.e. Potential human error) Manufacturer Recall Automobile manufacturers issue recall notices to inform owners of car defects that have come to the manufacturer's attention. Recalls also suggest improvements that can be made to improve the safety of a particular vehicle. Most manufacturer recalls can be repaired at no cost to you. Basic Warranty Most manufacturers offer a basic warranty for new vehicles. These warranties vary by manufacturer and typically last for a certain amount of time and/or a set number of miles. Not Actual Mileage Title When the seller certifies, under the Federal Odometer Act, that the odometer reading does not reflect the vehicle's actual mileage. This may occur because the odometer was tampered with, broken, or replaced. Junk Title A Junk Title is issued on a vehicle damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle exceeds approximately 75% of its pre-damage value. This damage threshold may vary by state. The majority of states use this title to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again. Some states treat Junk titles the same as Salvage. Loss Due To Fire Title The vehicle sustained major damage due to fire. In most states, fire damage titles are issued when the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value. Exceeds Mechanical Limits Title A vehicle with a 5-digit odometer cannot accurately track mileage after 99,999 miles because the odometer rolls over. This title is the result of a seller certifying under the Federal Odometer Act, that the odometer reading EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS of the odometer. Structural Damage All levels of accidents, from minor to severe, can cause structural damage to a vehicle (i.e., damage to the frame or unibody). Airbag Deployment Occurs when the driver, passenger or side airbag has been used or deployed during a crash or other incident. If an airbag has been deployed, it must be replaced by a qualified technician. Have this car inspected by a mechanic prior to purchase. Salvage Title A Salvage Title is issued on a vehicle damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle exceeds approximately 75% of its pre-damage value. This damage threshold may vary by state. Some states treat Junk titles the same as Salvage but the majority use this title to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state. The following eleven States also use Salvage titles to identify stolen vehicles - AZ, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OK and OR. Total L An insurance or fleet company declares a vehicle a total loss when a claim exceeds approximately 75% of its pre-damage value or if the vehicle is stolen and not recovered. This damage threshold varies by company. These companies typically take possession and obtain the title. Not all total loss vehicles result in a DMV-reported branded title, like a Salvage or Junk title. See the glossary for more information. Accident / Damage Indicator Various events could indicate an accident or damage in a vehicle's history, such as: salvage auction, fire damage, police-reported accident, crash test vehicle, damage disclosure, collision repair facility and automotive recycler records. See the glossary for more information. Hail Damage Title The vehicle sustained major damage due to hail. In most states, hail damage titles are issued when the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value. Flood Damage States issue flood titles when a vehicle has been in a flood or has received extensive water damage. Ownership History The number of owners is estimated Owner 1 Year purchased 2003 Type of owner (1 Owner) Personal Estimated length of ownership 9 yrs. 9 mo.
