autobusiness Store For sale is this great looking, beautiful example of a stock 1964 VW Bug. The car is a 2004 high quality restoration, with a stack of receipts and miscellaneous documentation to show for it. As mentioned the car is 100% factory, no suspension or engine modifications. Everything on the car works including the wipers and original am radio, all running on its 6 volt system. This car is a beauty to look at and quite the experience to drive (it drives incredibly nice). Mechanically all is working - engine (1300cc) and transmission, no leaks. Interior is immaculate, no rips, cuts or stains. The exterior is also in excellent condition. Remember this is a 2004 restoration, so there is MINOR wear and tear on the paint as found on any vehicle of that age. No rust! Just recently the car was entered into a local Volkswagen car show - 'Volksblast" and this guy took home 2nd place (see photos) in it's category from a selection of dozens of vehicles. It's truly a head turner! The beetle has been fun, but time to let it go.
