71 Pontiac LeMans This is for a 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport 455HO convertible. It was subjected to a body off the frame restoration that was terminated prior to completion about 10 years ago. The rear quarters, trunk floor and part of the passenger compartment floors were replaced. The doors were patched as was the left front fender. The entire frame was sandblasted after being completely disassembled, primed and painted. The front and rear suspensions were rebuilt. The body was reinstalled on the frame and then the project was stopped by the owner. We bolted on the doors, fenders, front and rear bumpers, hood, trunk lid and seats and put the car into storage. We have the front lower valance, the front seats (left side power), lower rear seat, convertible top frame assy, all the power windows are in the doors and quarters. The Rallye II wheels the car rolled in on is what is on it. The numbers maching 455 HO motor has recently been sold so it is not available any longer. The Turbo 400 transmission is available separately and is rebuilt with a performance rebuild. The work done has held up well and the body has picked up a few dings here and there from the lengthy storage.
