<><><> 1982 Volkswagon Vanagon Diesel L Model <><><> <><> One owner 136,353 mile time capsule <><> One owner vehicle with 138,353 miles. Always adult owned and maintained. Garaged when not in use. Very minimal rust issues as can be seen in the many photos and short videos that cover just about every square inch of the vehicle. If you are a serious bidder of this vehicle -- I please ask that you make use of the time that I spent to show it via photos and video. The driver side window is off the track, and works well with a Home Depot door shim. If you prefer Lowes, I suppose one of theirs would work also. The clock works and really keeps the correct time as well as the AudioVox AM FM cassette radio. All of the other electrics and lights are in working order with no issues. Tires and battery are fine, and I see no cracks in the wheel covers (although one is now missing since the photos were taken). The rust issues can be seen behind the front bumper where water was designed to lay, and the driver side step area, which is still extremely solid. Rockers are fine as shown. It has the original paint, and never saw anything more than the dents that it still carries (most of which happened in the tight fit garage). Engine starts right up and puts out just under 14 volts at idle. Minimal smoke which I believe to be normal. Glow plugs have just been replaced with new ones, and main injector pump was replaced a few months ago. I also just replaced the radiator with a new unit and flushed the coolant (I noticed a small leak after it was idling during the photo-shoot, and want it to be right). Lower rockers are beautiful as shown. Rear seats are really nice, cause they really were not used. Carpet is also real nice. Front seats have covers on them, and are still very comfortable (if that is possible). Heat works as it should, and has the secondary heater, but I am not real versed in how to use it (please bid accordingly). The best part is - that in all these years - Nobody, and I mean Nobody stuck a flower decal on it. Imagine that !!! I left it in the original title, cause I just hate to see DMV destroy such a document. The new owner can take possession in that form, or I can title it in my name at ADDITIONAL COST.
