1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate Normal 0 VIN: ZARBA5642J1062580 Original Miles: 52,200 4-cylinder DOHC Fuel-injected 5-Speed manual transmission Black exterior--black convertible top--black interior. This is a nice condition Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate that has been in dry storage for many years. I recently bought this vehicle late last year as a graduation present for my daughter. She loves the car but refuses to drive a manual transmission. As a result, it has been sitting since I bought it. I am selling to get my money out of it and get her something that she can enjoy for the upcoming summer. This vehicle is in nice condition but does need just a small amount of work. ExteriorThe exterior is in nice shape. All glass and chrome is in good condition. The tires are like new. The underside of the vehicle is very solid. The rear plastic window of the convertible top has been taped up because of a crack in the plastic. There is no rust or signs of bodywork. There is a small “ding” just below the hood on the right side and small “dings” on the passenger side of the vehicle. The clear coat is wearing thin on a portion of the trunk. There is a chip of the right-side rear bumper cap that has broken off. The paint would clean up nicely with a good buffing and wax. Interior Overall, the interior is in very good condition, but dirty from sitting. All knobs and trim work is present and in good condition. The carpet is in nice shape, but can use a cleaning to make it look beautiful. There is one crack on the top of the dash and a seam in the driver’s seat bottom has broken loose. Engine The engine runs well. There are no signs of leaks. The plastic cooling fan shroud is loose and needs to be re-aligned and tightened. The clutch slave cylinder needs to be replaced (brand-new slave cylinder and hose included). The brake fluid in the brake system was drained by the previous owner who planned on flushing/re-filling the system. The fluid still needs to be replaced and system bled. Overall, this Alfa Romeo is in very nice condition and would require minimal time/money to be a nice daily driver.
