This is a very clean and dependable Regatta Blue Metallic '89 Mustang GT with a new black/gray vinyl interior purchased from TMI Products Inc. The motor is a remanufactured 5.0L high output short block by Jasper Inc., bored .040 over with all new forged pistons, reconditioned crankshaft, new melling high volume oil pump, and new double roller timing chain. It also has a new factory roller camshaft, new roller lifter set, new rings, bearings, freeze plugs, etc., and all new fel pro gaskets/seals, and new head bolts. The cooling system is a heavy duty 4-core radiator with new hoses, new thermostat , and new water pump. The 5-speed manual transmission is a remanufactured Ford T5-Z with a new brute power clutch kit by Zoom, and a new flywheel. It also has a new transmission mount, Steeda brand adjustable clutch cable kit, and PRO 5.0 short throw shifter. The exhaust system retains its factory headers, factory catalytic converter H-pipe but with a new Walker cat-back dual exhaust system and factory type mufflers. It has a stock 8.8 posi-traction rear axle with Ford Racing 3.73 gears. It also has a Ford Racing M-4602-G heavy duty aluminum driveshaft which was installed at time of inspection in April of 2010. Miscellaneous new parts include spark plugs, ignition wire set, distributor cap and rotor, motor mounts, oil pressure sending unit, and K&N air filter. The battery was replaced last year with a heavy duty Ford Motorcraft battery. Many new trim parts were added on the interior/exterior in order to make this car stand out. It has a new 6 speaker sound system with a Pioneer DEH-1200MP CD player. This foxbody sounds great and is a joy to drive! It has always been garaged since I purchased it in April of 2010 and I put a lot attention into making it a dependable vehicle with an original appearance. It has not been beat on, and only driven approximately 7k on new motor/tires during this time. The glove box and door weatherstrip has also been replaced since these pics were taken.
