This car underwent a fully documented ground up restoration in the mid 1990s’ and remains in wonderful condition. Originally a light blue car, she was taken down to bare metal, and sprayed in BMW MAURITUS BLUE. The panel fit is consistent, and the Paint has great shine and luster. The interior is likewise in excellent condition. The carpets were replaced, and are excellent. The seats, headliner and trim are original, and remain in excellent condition, with only minor wear, especially in view of their age. The dashboard aluminum trim shows some crazing and pitting, as would be expected for her age. All guages and mechanical systems work as they should. The A/C blows cold, and all levers work as designed. The entire drive train was rebuilt. Her ORIGINAL 390 CID/300HP motor was rebuilt, as was the transmission and rear differential. The entire brake system was rebuilt, including the drums, master and slave cylinders, lines and pads. The suspension received a full nut and bolt restoration as well, and the underside of the car looks as nice as the top. The exhaust system was also replaced and remains in as new condition. Her rear bumpers were re-chromed and are excellent, the front bumpers are original and show well, with mild crazing. The original exterior trim shows only minor wear. All of the rubber was replaced, and remains pliable and soft. She rides on a set of KELSEY HAYES rims, and radial tires. The car only has 1500 miles on the restoration, and remains in wonderful Condition. Please remember that this is an older restoration, and while still excellent, IS NOT A NEW CAR.
