Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Based on the Ford Mustang with a little European flair, The Cougar was Motor Trend magazine's Car of the Year for 1967. Great opportunity to own a Classic Muscle Car!! Locally owned by Manhattan Beach (SoCal) resident for 20+ years. The car was sitting for last 6 months, but got it started by charging the battery and bypassing a bad starter solenoid. Since then I replaced the fluids, starter solenoid, gas tank and sending unit. Engine runs smooth and idles well. The upholstery was redone in 1992 and the seats and door panels are still in pretty good shape. The headliner will need replacement. All lights and gauges seem to be in proper working order, but may need minor attention. The flip-up headlights work as well as the tail lights with sequential turn signals. As shown in the pictures there are several areas on the body that will need a bit of attention, however the exterior is straight with no apparent signs of accidents. The exterior has a Cardinal Red oxidized patina. Clean California title in hand. I also have years of receipts and original build sheet from the factory that come with the car. Although the car runs and drives well, I would recommend that the car be transported before driving too far so that all systems can be properly checked. Car is sold as is.
