1927 ford roadster Hot Rod classic - survivor Rat Rod too COOL !!! You just found a "SURVIVOR" !!! HOT ROD - RAT ROD Built in 1960 ---- Put in storage in 1966 Please note that I changed NOTHING on the Roadster. It is just as I found it in storage after 47 years. Car starts and runs fine. Transmission shifts smooth. Updated brakes work excellent. Electrical system in working order. Add new tires and GO MAN GO !!! Chassis: 1931 Model A Body: 1927 Model T roadster Suspension: Front - DAGO 3" drop axle with split radius rods. Rear - 1940 Ford with relocated spring mounts Engine: 1955 Chevy 265 cu. in. with 1956 Chevy Power Pack heads w/matching 4-BBL intake & carb. Transmission: 1939 Ford 3-speed Steering: Early Ford pickup box Wheels: Steel - Rear modified with reversed deep dish Tires: Recapped wide whites - very old Interior: Bare Bones to be sure Paint: SeaFoam Blue Application: brush (original as done in 1960) Okay, pictures can tell the rest. Quiet simply said, this is just a patina laiden survivor that will draw a crowd at any event. Thing to KNOW: Rear hubcaps and front trim rings do not go with the car. Brakes have been completely gone thru with new master cylinder and wheel cylinders & shoes. All exterior lights work ( tail light, brake lights, headlights: low & high beam) Dash lights function Gauges function New gas tank with new fuel pump & filter Please know that car is not road worthy currently only because of the aged tires. Winning bidder is responsible for pickup or delivery. I will gladly "oversee" loading of roadster if using trucking company. Feel free to ask questions.
