1951 Chevrolet half ton 3100 pickup truck. Tons and tons of new parts. Almost all stock setup. Runs and drives great. All the lights work including blinkers. Some of the new parts include: brake pads, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all brake lines & hoses, rear shackle kit, front & rear shocks, (4) brand new tires, chrome grille, chrome frt bumper, all new glass & rubber, battery, oak bed floor, bed strips, aluminum radiator, points, plugs, wires, coil, radiator hoses, fuel filter, mirror, emblems, seat cover, headliner, door panels, tailgate hinges, all lights and bulbs, chrome headlight bezels, marker bezels, turn signal switch, brake switch, high/low beam switch, choke cable, door handles, step plates, wiper arms & blades, wiper arm bezels, cowl vent seal, body beading, overflow tank, and a bunch more odds and ends that show in the pics. The doors open and close nice, and the windows roll up and down with ease. The wipers work, but they are vacuum and they are slow. The courtesy light works. The gauges light up and the speedo works, but the rest are old and crusty so I added a small set of gauges with the vitals on the lower dash. This is a solid truck. It was solid before it was painted with only minor rust in the usual places that was patched with welded steel. The paint is nice. Not perfect, but very nice for a daily driver. While the body was off the frame, the frame was cleaned up and painted chassis black and the underside of the body and bed were sprayed with Rhino Liner. The pictures will tell the story on this one. This is a big boy toy, so check with your wife, your mom, your girlfriend, your dog, or whoever you need to before you bid, I do not have a buy it now price, but will consider a reasonable offer, Don't bother asking the reserve unless you already have placed a competitive bid. We all know what these trucks are worth. I will not end the auction early unless a deposit is received first. I build and sell about 10 of these trucks every year. They rarely go the full 7 days of the auction, so bid to win and if you want it, call me with your offer. On Feb-14-13 at 19:44:42 PST, seller added the following information: I got the last few parts in for the truck and installed. Chrome valve cover and gasket, new rubber pedals and boots, and a nice used air cleaner. I also put a tag on the truck on Monday to get some drive time in. The truck holds the road great. Top speed is maybe 70mph but that's how they came. The speedo reads just under 19k miles and works just fine. This was an old farm truck and can possibly be all original miles on this engine. It runs great. Theres no way to be sure, but it is a real possibility that the truck has actual mileage. The title is clear and in my name and ready for the new owner. The bids are getting up there so, now would be the time to shoot me an offer unless you want to ride it to the end. Ive had a few people call and ask about flying in and driving it home............There is a simple answer for that question.........I would feel comfortable driving this truck anywhere. But you would be in for long ride if you wanted to go cross country or more than 3 or four hours. These trucks weren't made for that kind of ride. Not even when they were new. I have no doubt it would make the trip, but I personally would get a transport company to move it. Its always cheaper than fuel anyway. These trucks are nice to ride around town in, but not comfortable for a long ride. Youre welcome to do whatever you please, but that's my input.
