Vehicle Detail
1966 Ford Mustang Up for auction is my 1966 Ford Mustang factory C-code with 3-speed. It now has a brand new C-4 auto trans but the 289 2v engine is still original to the car. Since I got the car a couple months ago I’ve replaced the valve cover gaskets, installed a new gas tank, did a full tune-up including oil change, spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor, fuel filter, ect.. Car starts right up and runs just fine. Could be used as a daily driver. Trans has less than 1k miles on it and shifts very smooth. I actually acquired it in a trade for my late model Dodge Durango and had plans to do a full restoration on it but at this point I’ve decided to invest my money in another project. I’ve got a clean California title in hand with current tags until 8/2013. This pony is ready for a new home. As you can see from the pics the Mustang is still somewhat of a project car. The interior is in decent shape, has original bucket black vinyl seats with light gray cloth inserts. Just installed a new dash pad and door panels. Carpet is kinda faded and headliner is coming apart in the rear (might not need a new one, just re-install it) has aftermarket CD player and seat belts installed as well. Glass is in great shape all around. As far as I can tell the car has original sheet metal all around and it doesn’t seem to have ever been in an accident. Drives nice and straight and undercarriage looks good. It has a cheap paintjob done years ago and there’s a few paint chips and imperfections throughout the car. Original suspension still in good shape but I think it’s going to need new shocks up front soon because it’s starting to squeak a little. Drum brakes all around, car stops good. Aftermarket 15” mag wheels with decent tires (about 50% tread). I also still have the original wheels and hub caps if the winning bidder wants them. There’s a few parts included with the car that haven’t been installed yet like the door weather-stripping, emergency brake handle, and dash moldings. Car is available for inspection by any serious bidder during this auction so feel free to send me a message with your contact number and I will call you to set up an appointment. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition with no warranty implied or expressed with this sale. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. Not really interested in any trades so please don’t ask. This is a NO RESERVE listing so the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence.
