Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2005 Chevrolet Corvette. It has the LS2 6.0 V8 engine and is a 6spd manual. It has the Z51 performance package and bose audio system but no navigation. I bought this through a salvage broker that is a friend of mine and it was not damaged badly. I planned to keep it but really want a Z06 instead and thats the only reason I am selling. The car was hit on the front left (driver) tire. The front left bumper was broken and so was the fender. Also the wheel that was on it was a little bent. I replaced all 4 wheels with used factory wheels from another C6 corvette. I can include the original wheels also if someone wants to get the front wheel fixed. They are black with chrome lip. The mechanical damage was a busted radiator on the bottom, upper control arm, slightly bent outer tie rod, and knuckle. I purchased brand new parts from a GM dealer for the car. I purchased a brand new optima red top battery for the car. I upgraded the radiator and bought a brand new Dewitts radiator with dual fan assembly and car runs really cool. The radiator and fan assembly easily are over $1,000. I also added black side markets for the lights. The airbags never deployed in this vehicle and are fine. It has power seats but the driver seat works on and off. I have checked fuses and tried to look under to figure out whats wrong with it. I got it where it was good for me to drive it and never messed with it. It might be a loose wire or bad connection somewhere. The passenger seat works just fine. It has a rebuilt salvage title and has been inspected by a state certified inspector. It is road worthy and I can release the rebuilt title by just completing a bill of sale form for the state of michigan and the salvage broker. It is only one page and really simple to do. This car runs and drives great but it is not immaculate as far as the paint goes. It has minor scratches here and there but are not too noticeable. One thing that bothers me is a small chip on the fender I purchased which I am sure happened to during shipping but you will only see it if you look for it and if it was touched up with paint it would not show. If you are looking for a track car or just a fun car to drive this is a great deal and no need to spend 5-10 grand more for a similar one. I have not put more then 150 miles on this car as we have a lot of snow here. The front corvette emblem is not on the front of the car in these pictures but I will get more uploaded. The rear tires do need to be replaced because the run flats it came with were losing air and I just put some cheap used tires on the rear to get the car to be easy to move around. I had ended the item because it was the only way I could add more pictures and now I relisted it. It is in the garage now and I just took more pictures of it but have not driven it because of the weather. We have been getting on and off snow here in Michigan and this is not the car to drive during these months. The car is dirty right now and needs to get detailed and buffed but because of weather I have not taken it in. That is why the pictures do not look as good as the car will when its detailed. Buyers with 0 or negative feedback that make offers will be declined. Please message me before doing so. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for viewing my car for sale. Blue book value on this car in fair condition is $22,393 which is the lowest condition it shows. Considering it is better than fair condition and factoring in the rebuilt title over clear I am looking to get $17,900 for the car or best offer. Please do no low ball me as I am not desperate to sell the car and would not mind waiting for better weather to enjoy it. I am somewhat negotiable though and will accept reasonable offers with cash in hand.
