1988 Alfa Romeo Gold Low Miles, Low Reserve For sale is a 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano that I bought on eBay this past year but must now sell due to the fact that I am moving to the USVI. All cars must go. This car has only 89,000 miles, is rare, and has great potential. The body is solid with only some slight bubbling in a couple of places. No rust underneath. Although the car looks okay from some distance, the paint, although shiny, suffers from poor preperation (pits) and is wavy in places. There is some paint missing on the sunroof. The car was originally white and that's the color I would paint her unless you got to have the red! There are the usual dings and slight dents along the doors. All the trim is on the exterior and the chrome and rubber is in good condition. All the lights are working and the wipers too. The sunroof is working okay, the power mirrors, seats and windows are working. All gauges are working. The interior is in good condition with the carpets and seats just needing a good cleaning. The headliner is okay. Only one minor crack on top of the dash. For an old Alfa the interior is really pretty good. The tires are Falkens and half about 50% tread life on them. The car starts, idles, and runs fine. I tuned her up and changed all of the fluids. There are three repairs the car needs: the radiator fan is not coming on, the driver's exterior door handle needs replacing (one comes with the car), and the rear rotors/pads need replacing ( the car comes with rotors/pads). The tranny and clutch are good with only that second gear needing a little attention when shifting. The car tracks straight and smooth and has good acceleration. There is a "squeak" coming from the left front. The drive train is without issue and is smooth and quiet. This Milano has low miles and great potential for the right enthusiast.
