I have a 1953 Chevy 2 ton truck. This truck was a former fire department water truck. It has been under roof since 1984.The truck has a little over 93,000 original miles and does run very well. Motor does not smoke a bit and runs like a kitten.It has a clear title and historical tags. I really don't want to sell this truck, but I just don't have the time to do what I want with it.I really like the way it looks with the old paint kinda a rat rod look. I have rebuilt all the brakes and wheel cylinders and only have the brake lines left to do. It has a new exhaust system from motor on back.The frame is 99% done has been sand blasted, primed, and multi layers of 3M undercoating. Cab corners a rough, do to bags of nail left for years inside that rusted through. I do have brand new corners to fix. Tires are in very good condition and should last for years. The motor has multi cats of high heat paint. All the gauges are original and work fine. As far as the way the truck is now. I did take the fenders and grill of to repair the cab ,see picture. The interior is also taken out. This truck is really in good shape for it's age and has never been wrecked. If there are any question I well be glad to answer all. It is a five widow cab,and most of the glass is good. Also has a 2 speed rear end and works fine. Thanks for looking ....
