Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a very clean 1967 Ford Bronco Vintage 4x4 V8. This was a garage find truck that was saved from a life of sitting under piles of junk! It is an older, mid range, frame off restoration that was driven until 2007 and then parked due to a bad transmission (has a new one now). The truck is very straight and very clean! I have tried to be as thorough and accurate as possible with the description and have included many pictures to show everything. --DRIVETRAIN-- The motor, Transmission, and transfer case are from a 1975 Bronco. It has a 302 V8 engine with a rebuilt 2bbl carb. Manual choke. It has a HURST 3 speed on the floor and the transmission is a fresh rebuild. It also has a new clutch. All new fluids. The engine starts right up and runs strong with good throttle response but it does have a miss that I have not delved into.….. like I said it has been sitting for several years. It could just be old gas or need a good tune up. I did a compression test and all cylinders ranged from 115 psi. to 123 psi. It has great oil pressure and runs cool. There is no smoke or knocking, and it does NOT leak anything or leave any drops on the ground. The battery looks newer but seems a little weak, it does start the truck and run all systems fine though. The entire underside of this truck is very clean! The underneath of the tub has been sprayed with undercoating. It has dual glasspack exhaust that dumps in front of the axle and has a good tone. The truck has good power and shifts smooth, I have had it up to about 60 mph. The 4wd seems to work fine and the transfer case shifts in and out smoothly. There is some evidence of some seepage on the passenger turn knuckle, but no drops. It has power steering that works great, but there is a little bit of play in the wheel and it does drift a bit while driving. The manual brakes work just like old bronco drum brakes should… they stop the truck with slight pull; they could probably use an adjustment . The emergency brake is not working. --EXTERIOR-- The Canary yellow paint is shinny and is glossy and bright but does have some chips, scratches, a couple runs in the clear, and a couple small cracks. It is an older off-frame paint job and everything was painted, including, jams, inner fenders, and engine compartment. The restoration is starting to show its age but still looks nice. It is in great driver condition but not show quality. The body is extremely straight with only one “dent” on the front passenger hood. (see pics). There is some garage rash on the hood as well as 2 drilled holes where it looks like there was a hood ornament at some point. There are some small cracks on the fender flares and about a 4 inch crack in the paint behind the driver door. (see pics) The exterior of this truck is rust free aside from the surface rust in the blemished areas and a nickel sized bubble on the driver door. There isn’t any rust in the engne bay, inner fenders, rockers, or tub with the acception of surface rust. ALL rust was addressed when the truck was restored however many years ago. You can see where the holes were underneath that have been replaced with new sheet metal. All of the glass is good with no chips or cracks, and it has all new window rubber and weather stripping. Bumpers are in excellent condition. It has black steel rims with Goodyear 31x10.50 r15 tires. --INTERIOR-- The interior of this truck is very clean and looks nice. The original Bronco seats have been professionally redone and look brand new front and back. The entire floor has been done in a truck bed coating (not rhino) and looks good. It has a carpet headliner that looks great, the windows are tinted and do have a couple nicks in the film but not bad. The floor boards have been replaced and are solid. There is NO rust in the door posts or strikers. There are some non-factory items on the dash but they all seem to work fine. The dash pad is a cover and looks great, there is no radio, the dash has been cut for aftermarket gauges which all work fine. The speedo works well, along with all of the lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, etc. The tilt steering wheel is from an early ‘90s Ford looks and functions great. The heater seems to work and the fan cycles through the speeds. The windows go up and down like they should and the door handles function properly. ---I have tried to list everything I can think of and it is in great shape. But this is a 46 year old vehicle and does have some defects throughout. PLEASE feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. If you want more pictures I will send them. You should read the entire ad, review all of the pictures, and ask any questions before you bid. The truck is sold in AS-IS condition with no warranties or guaranties. If you have less than 5% feedback or no more than 90% feedback, please contact me before bidding. This Bronco has a clear, open, South Dakota title. I am selling this for a friend who had to move out of state. The Bronco, signed title, and I are located in Colorado. 951-634-6989 BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS AND ARRANGEMENTS Happy Bidding!
