1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 This is a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 equipped with a non matching numbers 1971 351 Windsor V8 backed up by a Ford Toploader 4 speed manual transmission and a Ford 9" posi rear. We rebuilt the transmission and rear axle and installed a new 3.50 gear ratio with a new Trac-Lok differential last year. The motor was rebuilt in February of 2005 and was blue printed and balanced. The heads are from a 1971 351 W The car was restored in November 2004 I have documentation from Ford Motor Company showing it is a real Mach 1 and the break down of how it was built from them in 2004 New interior 2005 I have a binder of documentation showing the parts replaced during the restoration Seat Belts were restored in Sept 2004 Front suspension and brakes were overhauled in 2005 Wheels are American Racing Salt Flat Specials 15x7 This Mach 1 runs great and drives great. It has been owned by our customer for a number of years and we have maintained it along the way. It drives as it should and is in excellent condition. Everything works including the rim blow steering wheel. It has a hood tach and hood mounted turn signals along with fold down rear seat and clock. The paint job is in good condition but there are some minor spots that can be seen when looking closely from age. No rust bubbles, the underside is amazingly solid. We inspected the car when we had the transmission and rear out and were amazed at how pristine the underside is. This Mach 1 is ready to turn the key and go!
