Here is a nice 40 Ford up for auction. If you are looking for a great car with solid driveline and mechanicals that looks great and attracts attention, this is your car! Bought this car about a year ago after it had been sitting indoors for 3 years. It was started multiple times a year but not driven. Does not leak or use any fluids. After some work on the brakes and updating the stereo, it is a lot of fun! Car was restored in mid 90's and has held up well. As far as I can tell, sheet metal looks original. Trunk handle and front vent were removed. Halibrand 15 x 7 rear, 15 x 3 1/2 front wheels. Car has a 350 chev w/mild cam and noisy gear drive & th350 transmission, Carter 600 cfm 4brl carb, A/C, Power brakes, Stereo w/cd/mp3/remote, 10 bolt reared with 3.08 gears. Custom Car cover included. Car gets good mileage too. Drove car last fall on a 350 mile road trip and it used a tank (12 gal) and half of fuel. Put roughly 1200 miles on since purchase. Here is what has been replaced since I bought car, * New master cylinder, front brake calipers & pads* rebuilt rear wheel cylinders* New Pioneer am/fm/cd/mp3 stereo w/remote, 80w x 4* New Pioneer 6 x 9 rear speakers, Has front speakers, not sure of brand but they sound great.* Grant Billet steering wheel* New BFGoodrich 245/70/15 rear tires* Kumho 165sr15 front tires* Summit high torque mini starter* Pertronix electronic ignition, replaced points style* MSD blaster 2 coil* RJS safety lap belts* Basic maintenance, changed fluids, plugs, cap & rotor etc... Car runs 170 degrees on a cool day and 185 on a 90+ degree day. Has an aux electric fan as well as a belt driven flex fan. Drive car 75 mph nice and straight. A/C works great with recent charge. Has center dump manifolds with glass pack mufflers, sounds cool as it has a little lope to it. Not too loud, just right! I am selling car because I would like to move on to the next one. I enjoy finding cool cars that have lost the owners interest, doing the minor repairs that may be needed, driving for a summer & moving on. Of all of them I have done this was the most fun so far.
