1969 Plymouth Road Runner, 2-Door Post, Air Grabber, Factory 4-Speed. This is an outstanding and nearly rust-free example that is ready for restoration. This car has all original sheet metal and is arrow-straight. The doors hang without sagging and close like the car was new. The trunk, hood, fenders, and both doors have excellent panel fitment. It comes with an 18-spline 4-speed (1970) and your choice of a date code correct (1969 year) 383 that has been rough-bored, or you can opt for a 440 core engine. The transmission and engine do not have matching numbers to the car or each other. The seats appear to be from a 1970 B-body car. There is also a Hurst pistol-grip shifter included with many other parts. The speedometer is the 140 mph version with factory tachometer (presumably from a GTX). This vehicle has no power steering, no power brakes, and no air-conditioning. It is a perfect candidate for a 426 Hemi build. The Road Runner has been stored indoors most of its life and there is only one rear quarter panel that has rust on the bottom. Take a look at the pictures detailing the under side of the car...that completes the story of how solid this vehicle is. There is some corrosion in the trunk, but it is minimal and shown in the pictures. There are some additional holes that wer cut or drilled on the passenger side upper floor board and near the transmission tunnel/shifter area...nothing major. On Feb-15-13 at 13:28:03 PST, seller added the following information: In response to all the questions, here is a summary of the responses I have submitted. The car is approximately 95% complete. The air cleaner base, flywheel, and clutch parts are not with the car. The radio is the standard AM, not the 8-track it was ordered with. There may be various screws and fasteners missing. The bellhousing is at the machine shop testing for a crack (update: it IS cracked). The car is as-purchased and I have not done an inventory. Bumpers, driveshaft, grille, headlight surrounds are all there. All the factory glass is with the car (except the windshield, NO windshield) and is in excellent condition. All of the trim pieces, and those on the vent windows, are in excellent condition with no corrosion. The hood and air inlets are in excellent condition. As seen in the pictures, the speedometer is the 150 mph version with tachometer (not 140 mph as stated above). All sheet metal appears to be original since the original paint is seen where the repaint has been sanded through. Bottoms of the rockers are solid with no rust.
