This is my 1966 Mustang Fastback (coupe conversion) I have owned it for 15 years This is a running,drive able, licensed car, and with Texas title in my name, Started out life as a 289 C-code Coupe. Now it is a fastback with the strong running original 1966 289 C engine with Top loader 4-speed trans and 4-barrel carb. The engine has been rebuilt, and is in Shelby Model R colors. The top loader was just rebuilt. This car needs to be finished or used as is( with some work) All major body work complete, Car needs finish body work where the new fastback roof was installed (quarter panel area ) and all remaining finish bodywork or it can be just used as it is. Car has all the glass, most interior panels and most trim, dash pad. carpet set. both front seats. Nice set of original torque thrust wheels with good tires (original steel wheels and tires also) New or rebuilt parts are Transmission, new clutch, rebuilt Hurst competition Plus shifter, new water pump, gas tank, brakes, New Shelby Model R side exhaust. with Shelby Tri- Y headers. The car was originally an A/C car I have that also. extra set of bumpers, plus other items please ask. The car needs finish body work(primer now) (Glass is just sitting in place now will need to be permanently installed after painting) All original floor pan(1-rear passenger floor section replaced) All the rest of the floors ,rockers, frame rails solid originals (Texas Car) Right rear corner has filler, No other filler in car, Please ask your questions about what needs to be done to be road ready and to drive it while you restore it.
