1965 Ford Mustang Up for auction is my very clean and original 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. This is a great example of an unmolested, California Pony car that has been in the state its entire life and has Zero rust issues. Still has the factory C-code 289 engine and C-4 automatic transmission. Both were rebuilt a few years ago and were upgraded with several mods. The drivetrain has about 50k miles since the rebuild and it runs very strong. Engine has an Edelbrock aluminum intake with 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, long tube headers, Flowmaster exhaust, mild cam, aluminum radiator, electric fan and electric fuel pump. It sounds very beefy and likes to set off alarms =) This Mustang has all original sheet metal and it has never been in an accident. Original quarters, fenders, doors, rust free floor pans, front frame rails, trunk area, and torque boxes. Car was painted back in 2009 by the previous owner and it isn’t a $5k paintjob but as you can see in the pics it still looks nice. Has a few minor paint chips from normal driving but nothing major. Interior was restored about a year ago. Everything has been replaced including upholstery, headliner, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, gauge cluster, and most of the chrome & misc trim. All exterior chrome trim is in good shape and most of it has been replaced as well including both bumpers, front and back windshield trim, GT fog lights & running horse ornament, parking lights, emblems ect.. Original glass all around in excellent shape as well (slightly tinted). Suspension is in good shape and car handles great at all speeds. New lower control arms, ball joints, misc bushings, no squeaks or rattles. Upgraded with front disc brakes, car stops great. Magnum 500 wheels and good tires. All electrical works well including upgraded HID headlights, LED tail lights, HID fog lamps, turn signals, wipers, heater, interior lights, cigarette lighter, ect.. I’ve got a clean CA title in hand with current tags until December 2013 ready to be transferred to the new owner. This pony is ready for the summer!
