Here is your chance to own a VW GTI VR6 with 177,XXX highway driven miles (never been raced). This car is in reflex silver with a black interior, it has leather seats; VW’s top of the line CD/Cassette Monsoon Stereo system which is crystal clear and loud for a factory one. It has a 6 cylinder 2.6L, 200 HP engine, mated to a 6 speed manual w/over drive gearbox. It has ESP, heated seats, air conditioning, keyless entry/anti-theft system, cruise control, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, and power windows, locks and mirrors and split rear fold down seats for expanding the already spacious trunk, these are all standard features on the GTI. All GTIs ride on front MacPherson struts and a rear independent torsion-beam axle; the suspension is of course tuned for sport but without sacrificing day-to-day livability. Separate shock and coil-spring mounts reduce intrusion into the luggage compartment and cut road noise. This is a solid driver and I have owned it for 7 years now and used it as my daily commuter which entails about 120 miles round trip M-F most days. This would make a great second vehicle, commuter car or a first car for your high school or college bound kid. I hate to see it go but it is time for a new home…with that said here is some of the things I have done to it: 1. Replaced the rotors with racing cross drilled ones 2. C-pillar Strut Bar (which strengthens the handling) 3. New high performance racing clutch 4. Replaced the masters and slave transmission cylinders 5. Replaced throw-out fork 1-2 gear (Transmission) What I know needs to be done: 1. Adjust the parking brake 2. Replace the rubber bushings 3. Sliding seat adjustment handle driver side sticks open, and is slow to lock As you can see from the pictures it is in great shape, everything works, leather is great, inside and out side looks great as well...you get the picture. Lastly, please note the mileage will increase as this is my daily driver. Expect it to be higher that 177,XXX depending on the time it takes to sell it.
