Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1970 Chevelle 2 Door Hardtop 350 V8, TH350 Automatic Runs and Drives Good 74,011 miles, Title says that is actual miles, but I cannot verify that it is correct. I would consider this car to be in good condition for a 1970. This is not a SS car, It just has the emblem in the grill. Car is 98% complete- only missing a couple pieces of trim. This car was built in California and came from the factory with a 350 V8 and an automatic. It does have a few dings, dents and some rust all of which I tried to get decent pictures of to let you judge its condition for yourself. This is not a numbers matching car, the engine is 3 months newer than the car. This car does run and drive down the road good. It is very cold-blooded, but once it is warmed up it runs great and has pretty decent power to it. It is a stock 350 with HEI ignition. The oil pressure when warmed up is 40 psi at idle and between 60 and 80 psi driving down the road. Transmission shifts and runs great. The brakes work decent, they are about normal for stock non power 4 wheel drum brakes. This car does have power steering but no A/C or power brakes. The tires are like brand new. The gas gauge and speedometer do work, It has aftermarket temp, amp and oil pressure gauges which also work. All glass is good except windsheild- is cracked. As far as rust goes the floor and rocker panels look great, do not even see any surface rust. LF fender has small spot behind the tire at the bottom, Both rear quarters have some rust in front of and behind the tires- but not to bad, rear of trunk lid is pretty rusted out, trunk floor has some holes rusted through and some other surface rust, aroud the back window does not look to bad- has surface rust, but I could not find any holes. There is a couple spots that have some bondo but it is not a bondo bucket. The pass. side front fender and fender extension and grill are aftermarket, fender does have some dents on the top edge by the hood. Everything else looks to be original sheetmetal to the car. The doors look great. The hood and roof have a few small dings. The back bumper on the pass side has been hit lightly, it also pushed in the rear corner of body maybe a half inch. Overall is pretty staight and in good condition for a 1970. This car is being sold as is where is with no warranty. Has clean and clear Kansas antique title. Will accept cash only. Will not ship this vehicle, you can come pick it up or I could possibly deliver it for $1.00 a mile one way. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Please contact me with any questions you might have or if you would like to come see it in person. Feel free to make an offer the worst I could say is no. Thanks for looking.
