Normal 0 You are looking at my 1976 Midget in good condition for its age. This car lives its life in southern Florida and gets excellent fuel economy! It is very rare to find a midget in this color combination of triple black. This is what makes this car so attractive to begin with. I am selling this car because I need to pay the insurance company for a fire I had in my workshop. The 1964 Thunderbird convertible on the lift at the time was a total loss. Instead of running from my debt, I am selling this Midget as a way to start me on the track to paying down my loss. I have barely driven this car, but it is feel nice and solid. Mechanics: Engine: starts, runs well, no smoke, pulls strong (for a 1500cc) no unwelcome noises while driving. Transmission/Clutch: Shifts properly, (new shift lever bushing and new slave cylinder) stays in gear in every gear under all conditions - no unwelcome noises Rear end/Drive train: Quiet and proper Brakes: All work Steering: Tight and responsive. Exhaust: Clean and quiet. At some point someone removed the heater. Now need for it while driving in Florida, but I will include an original Midget heater that can be installed if someone needed heat in the car. Electrics: All electrics work (headlights, turn signals, brake lights, driving lights). The radio and speakers are brand new. The speedo, tach oil, water and fuel guages all work but will need new backlight bulbs. Paint and Body: The paint is about a year old and is PPG base coat clear coat. The engine compartment is detailed and the trunk is rust free and detailed. There has been rust repair done to the drivers front floor pan but the rest of the car is very nice for its age. The rockers are original and solid. The car is not perfect but looks very nice from every angle. Interior: The interior seat vinyl is new and the seat frames are rust free with new foam. Door and kick panels are new vinyl also. The carpet is new and has a higher quality than originally supplied. The convertible top frame is rust free and painted fresh black with a new top installed. Items Included: Spare tire Jack Heater – needs to be painted and installed New rubber gaskets for the door quarter windows. I am describing this car to the best of my ability.
