This is a detail that cannot be successfully duplicated and even many show cars have had these upper areas recovered with a matching color, but not in this factory pattern. It's quite common to find rust under the top where is meets the body due to the padding under the top absorbing moisture and trapping moisture under the top. That's why you see many Cadillac's of the late 60's and 70's with rust all around the base of the top.
