Absolutely beautiful example of the classic XJS. 1994 2+2 Convertible. Most prized color combination but with the wonderful and unique addition of vintage wide white wall tires matched to Star Wire 30 spokes in bristol condition. The car runs smoothly, shifts as intended (does have the optional sport driving mode), and drives like new. None of the typical warning lights or mystery glitches that you find in this model. As you can see, the exterior is near flawless and shines brilliantly. The interior is clean, no rips or wear marks. With only 74,800 original miles, it is evident that she has not been driven hard and was garage kept. The canvas top looks and works great. Tires have less than 500 miles. Simply, the best looking, best running example you will find in Ebay at this price. If you've been watching this category for some time, you will see the same (and I'm sure quite stunning) cars listed at $15k and above, as well as the owners that continuously re-start the auction if they don't garner bids over $10k. I doubt the XJS model is ready to go viral at these prices as those owners believe, but I can state with confidence that this particular example is as clean and straight as any of the 9 Jaguars I have owned. And that, at my reasonable price, it will be a wonderful car for the true aficianado to appreciate. I really don't want to sell this one, but I need to buy a car for my teenage son...and I can't bear to see what would happen if I gave him my beautiful XJS to drive...
