Vehicle Detail
1971 Chevy shortbed stepside pick up,truck was disassembled and the reassembled for a frame off restoration, no rust, new rockers, cab corners, new fenders, inner fenders, new doors and all associated hardware, new interior, steering wheel, tilt column, new carpet, seat, dash pad,new bumpers, grill,mirrors,tail-lights,new wood bed,new bf goodrich radial T/A's with less than 100 miles ,rally rims, new mufflers and piping, new gauge cluster. The truck has a 400 small block, automatic transmission,411 rear end. The truck has leaf springs, not the standard coil springs that usually come on these trucks. This truck had a frame off restoration a year ago.It was disassembled, all rust repaired, parts painted, and then re-assembled, .It needs some touchup, it has some minor overspray on it when you get up close. The motor has not been rebuilt, the drivetrain was removed when it was disassembled, painted it' s original colors and re- installed. it runs very strong,it does smoke some when first cranked.Seal replacement should fix that issue.Transmission shifts fine. The truck needs windshield wipers and motor, heater controls hooked up, tail lights need to be hooked up,and the gas gauge does not work. I have over 10,000 invested in this truck. It is 90% complete, with a few more things to do to make it a show quality truck. Or drive it and enjoy it just as it is.I do not have a title, but one is not required in Georgia for vehicles over 15 yrs old. I will provide a signed bill of sale to the winning bidder. I have been as honest as I can about the truck, but I am sure I have missed something,so I encourage bidders to ask any and as many questions as needed. I have what I consider a low reserve on the truck, so please understand before you bid that if you are the winning bidder, the truck is yours...period.
