Here we have a 1924 REO T6 4dr Sedan in Older Restored Condition. i am selling this car for an elderly friend who is very sick at the present time. He has never driven the car. It was purchased around 10 or 12 years ago and driven by another friend 60 miles home and put into the garage and never driven again. I did pull the car out of the garage to wash and take these pictures. This car was restored between 1984 and 1987 by Restoration Limited of Whites Creek, Tn and I have over $24000.00 in itemized reciepts for the restoration in 80s money. The odometer shows 21000 miles and we have no way of telling if that is correct or not. The car is to believed to be an untouched original up to that point by the pictures of the restoration which we have. I did purchase a battery for the car and drain all the old gas out and put new in but couldnt get it to turn over fast enough to start as it was very cold on that day. So as of now I havent had the car started. The paint on the car looks Very Good for an older restoration. The uphostery has MOTH DAMAGE and could be used as is or replaced depending on how nice You want it. (see pictures) The top is in good shape. The tires show weather and age cracks though I believe You could use as is for a while. The right rear door window appears to be off its track. The owner is looking for the title now but hasnt found it yet. If need be He will get a new title so we quarantee a Clear ohio title. the car is located in Ashland Ohio just off interstate 71 halfway between Cleveland and Columbus Ohio. I did manage to get a hold of the widow of the gentleman who had the car restored in the 80s. He passed away last year at 89. She told me that he had got the low milege car from the original owner who was his uncle many many years ago before they were married. She said that he finally had the car restored and He also never drove it afterwards. She said that he put it in a Museum in Nashville, Tn and that it sat there for many years until they sold it. On Feb-02-13 at 06:55:02 PST, seller added the following information: I received a call last night from a gentleman in Tn. who recognized this car on e-bay from the restoration shop he worked at that restored this car. He said he was the one who stripped the old paint of the body before it was painted and remembered the body being in perfect condition and needed NO BODYYWORK what so ever. Just thought that was good to know!
