According to the Meteor Skyliner Registry, only 385 Meteor Skyliners were ever produced. This could be one of the rarest production models ever built by Ford. Meteors were built in a variety of body styles and trim levels, by Ford Motor Company of Canada for the Canadian market only and were sold new only by Meteor, Mercury, Lincoln dealers in Canada. Unique features, include the more powerful Mercury 255 CU. IN. Flathead V-8, the Mercury dash board and instrumentation, special grill, emblems, unique Meteor trim and more. This beautiful Skyliner is one of only a handful remaining in existence. The clear plexiglass roof is very special indeed. The Flathead engine is smooth and powerful and the hard to find, Ford Factory overdrive has an impressive bonus effect at highway speeds.
