1978 Ford F250 Super Cab two-wheel drive 3/4 ton. Truck is strong runner. Body is mostly solid with a some rust on the bed and some rust on the bottom rear of the cab. Interior is nearly flawless. The rubber floor cover is cracked, but the floors feel very solid. Under the hood looks completely stock. Vinyl looks to be in great shape, interior is saddle tan and body color. Exterior paint is original medium copper paint code 2M but it is faded. Transmission is a 3 speed automatic and the rear end is a DANA 60 with a 3.54 gear. One of the rear leaf springs looks to be flattening, but two new leaf springs are included. Truck has two fuel tanks and a 3rd extra is included. Looks to be leaking fuel from the rear auxiliary tank. Motor is a strong runner but the truck has a noticeable vibration around 40 mph and up and at idle. I'm guessing it's a motor mount but haven't checked into it. The tires are starting to dry rot so long distance driving is not safe. Driven locally it stops well and goes straight down the road. As of 1/21 in Chicago it's 10 degrees outside and the truck starts right up and only needs a few minutes to warm up before it's ready to drive. With not a lot of work this truck can be a very strong runner and looker. Feel free to ask any questions.
