In 2012 economy was greatly improved by adding Direct Injection and the 7-Speed Transmission. The condition can only be described as impeccable or immaculate as it has no nicks, dings, or marks of any kind. It is equipped with the optional AMG wheels as shown in the photos. This car will come with 3 years of pre-paid maintenance agreement, services by a certified Mercedes-Benz dealer. The 2012 E350 has received a new engine that's more powerful and economical. This gasoline powered E350 now features a direct-injection 3.5 liter V6 that bumps output up to 302 horsepower from its previous 268. Overall the 2012 Mercedes-Benze E-Class remains a top choice against a plethora of competitors including those from Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Jaguar and Porche. It's hard to argue against any of these, but the E-Class provides the unmistakable Mercedes virtues of meticulous engineering and a driving character that strikes a wonderful balance between responsive performance and handling. Body Style, Trim Level, and Options This E350 sedan is equipped with AMG wheels, automatic headlights, LED running lights, a sunroof, automatic wipers, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, 10-way power telescoping steering wheel, interior accent lighting, auto-dimming inside and driver-side mirrors, the COMAND electronics interface, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker sound system with a CD/DVD player with a 60 GB hard drive to store music off of CD or iPOD adn an auxiliary audio jack. Powertrain and Performance The Mercedes-Benz E350 models come with a 3.5 liter V6 that produces a302HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. A seven speed automatic transmission is standard on every E-Class. In Edmunds performance testing, an E350 wagon went from zero to 60 MPH in 6.5 seconds, which is average for the class, and we expect the rear-wheel-drive variants to be a bit quicker still. Mercedes estimates that the E350 sedan will achieve 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. My mileage experience was better, both city and highway by 20%. Just a personal observation........... Safety The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, front pelvic airbags, side curtain airbags, and a driver knee airbag. Also standard are the MErcedes-Benz mbrace emergency telematics service, Attention Assist (a driver drowsiness and inattention warning system) and PreSafe (it anticipates and imminent crash and automatically takes measures to better secure occupants). Interior Design and Special Features This 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a cabin done in a style that is meant to recall solid, dependable Mercedes from the past. Angles are sharp, the materials first-rate and eh look is decidedly austere, especially when adorned in monotone color schemes and dark wood trim---very German in other words. All E-Class models come with the Mercedes COMAND electronics interface, which combines a large display screen, a control knob and dash-mounted buttons. Each E-Class model is relatively comfortable and spacious for their respetive segments. The seats are firm, but offer impressive comfort and support over the long haul.
