2008 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab ST 4x2 Our family is the second owners of this truck. We bought this pickup truck from original owner in September of 2009 in Beaverton, Oregon. At that time the truck had 8,786 miles on it. Current Mileage Reading: 24,200 original / actual miles Exterior Color: Bright Silver Metallic Interior Color: Dark Slate Gray/Medium Gray Interior: Cloth factory bucket seats. This is a two seat vehicle, it is not a 4 seater. But it does have a factory attachment inside the cabin on the back wall to attach a child's seat to (3rd seat) Manual door locks, manual door windows, and manual adjustable seats Engine: 3.7 Liter Magnum V6 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway; 22 gallon gas tank Transmission: 4 speed Automatic Transmission Truck has Les Schwab custom (black colored) wheels and tires on it, does not have or come with the stock wheels or tires. 22" TOYO tires and 22" specialty (black colored) wheels come from Les Schwab and were purchased new in May of 2010. We have added new brakes and new calipers to front axle of the truck.(serviced on April 26th, 2011 approx. $500 have paperwork). Another set of brand new front brake calipers (under warranty) were installed again on 12/18/12. Regularly serviced----a recent synthetic oil change was just performed by Care Care Specialists in late June 2012 and again on 11/9/12 ..............and a 27 point inspection found not one item needing to be fixed or addressed. We have the original Owners Manual and Warranty manual and the carrying case for them from Dodge We have the Original Window Sticker sheets, showing the truck was originally first sold out of the Town & Country Dodge Wilsonville, OR dealership, (for reference, the original dealer window sticker has a new truck price of $21,215 back in 2008) They don't make Dodge Dakotas anymore, I think. This one's a nice example with low miles. Probably has never towed anything, certainly not since we've owned it. The truck has been most dependable to drive over the past four years that we've owned it, with zero breakdowns. This truck has never broken down since we've owned it. Rides nice on the highway. No transmission slips, etc...drives very smoothly. The truck does have some minor cosmetic nicks, scratches, and very minor dings here and there, but not a lot. Surface rust factor, I would say, is pretty minor with just a few traces of surface rust here and there but hardly worth mentioning. But I am mentioning it, just because it usually gets asked. Plus I have added a picture of the area of the truck where we can see it. Interior is in great shape, nonsmoker. I did find a small tear in the roof of the cabin inside............above the passenger seat............about 1/2 of an inch. It's hard to see, but I just noticed it so I am mentioning it. No other rips of cracks or tears that we can see otherwise. Everything works as it should. Everything is factory and stock. Truck does not leak anything. Priced to sell. So that we don't get asked this, we are only selling this because we need a 4x4 to get over the snowy mountain ranges occasionally during winters here in Oregon to go from Portland to Lincoln City. Otherwise, we'd certainly be keeping this truck. If you live in a mild/sunny warm climate where a 4x4 is not needed, then this truck is a good one. Or if you live in a colder climate but do not need a 4x4, this is a good 4x2 option with low miles well taken care.
